Introducing a naughty twin, Demi Alex | A note from Aleka As most of you are aware, Demi Alex is my naughty little muse, born at
the request of my publisher for a spicier, erotic tale which will satisfy readers who enjoy my stories. If you are an
adult, please take a look and friend Demi on myspace: www.myspace.com/DemiAlexLetsLoose. And no, the heroine
doesn't end up with an green alien from a galaxy, far, far, away. Demi's tales are hot, sensual, erotic romances which
promise to put a smile on your face, a skip in your heart, and heat in your (well...I'll leave that up to you). Cuff Me Lacy & Knight In Shining
Amour Look for 'Unwrap Me, I'm Yours' to
be released for the holidays this year. |
You can click on the book covers above to be directed to specific details and release information and
to purchase ebooks on Resplendence Publishing's site. Here are the latest reviews on Cuff Me Lacy: DARK ANGEL REVIEWS
CUFF
ME LACY is light, fun, sexy and an all around enjoyable read. The plot is simple-old friend and next-door neighbor returns
to his hometown and shakes things up for our heroine. But while the general plot may be simple, it is still fun and well executed
in this tale. Chrissie has stayed put and made a place for herself in her hometown; she is a strong female lead at a crossroads
in her life and it is very easy to empathize with her. Patrick left to make his place in the world; he is caring and sexy.
I really liked both lead characters and getting these two together is just plain fun, especially when you throw Chrissie's
on-again, off-again boyfriend 'Bull' into the mix. The sex scenes are honest, graphic and sensual and add to the romance
in the story. Nothing too wild, just good old-fashioned sexy. CUFF ME LACY was a story I really liked and would be perfect
entertainment for a lazy afternoon! Sandi Potterton
MANIC READERS REVIEW
MR Review Cuff Me Lacy by Demi Alex
Cuff Me Lacy is as romantic as it is hot. The characters are well developed and have personalities
all their own. You can't help but share Chrissie's experiences that happen throughout the story. Her disappointments,
frustrations, and happiness are well written and easy to identify with. Demi Alex writes as though she has been there and
come out the other end. Cuff Me Lacy is worth a look. Knight In Shining Amour is the latest release and
has yet to receive a review. Visit the page on Fictionwise for an excerpt and reader reviews. |

Meet me down in New Orleans! Yesterday, I won something
at the Florida Romance Writers monthly meeting. I rarely win a thing! I won a complete conference weekend that Heather Graham
sponsors annually in New Orleans to help support the rebuilding of the city.
It went like this:
I've
attended the Heather Grahams Writers for New Orleans event for the past two years (since it started). When registration opened,
I thought I'd be in Tampa for a wedding and didn't plan on the conference.
The wedding was postponed, but
my conference and appearance schedule had been set, and unfortuanately I hadn't put New Orleans on the calendar.
Last month, Author Bonnie Vanak, a previous attendee of the workshop and a fellow FRW member, was not able to attend this
year due to scheduling conflicts. Knowing what a wonderful event the workshop is, she offered to sponsor a FRW member and
gift the registration.
Heather read about this offer and added the airfare to the prize.
The excitement
in the group grew and half a dozen names went in the hat. On the day of the drawing (yesterday) a few had to pull out for
personal reasons.
The winner was Lyn Armstrong. (Yes, I was happy for her. I'm not a sore loser. Besides,
I never win. lol)
Our president, Kathleen Pickering, stood, congratulated Lyn, and announced that Heather had called
and offered to sponsor the remaining two members (Ona and myself) if we wanted to attend. Did we!?!? Yes. We both thank her
from'the bottom of our hearts'. Her continuous support and generousity is greatly appreciated.
So, needless
to say, I'll be at the workshop this year!
Please take a moment and visit Heather's home page: www.theoriginalHeatherGraham.com
and learn about the workshop. Heather started the Writers for New Orleans event after the devastation of Katrina to
help add to the economy of the city. Writers gather in the French Quarters, network, conduct business, hold seminars, meet
readers, sign their books, and spend money in New Orleans!
That was the point when it all started. We all went
to leave our money there and support the rebuilding of this historical city.
Please check out all current information
on the workshop on Heather's site, and if you'd like to join us, register ASAP. Be sure to send me and email ( aleka@AlekaNakis.com
), and we'll meet at the carousel bar for a drink or two.
PS There are more pictures from the previous
years.
Last year in New Orleans
If you'd like to see a video, I have one on my myspace blog: www.mysapce.com/AlekaNakis of RP Lovelies in New Orleans is in my personal video collection. I made it to share with my friends and fellow
authors from Resplendence, because we all gathered in New Orleans last year during the workshop. What a fun way to support
Heather's effort and the city of New Orleans. Even though this is only a tenth of what was happening, (unfortunately there
are very only a few pictures of the actual workshops, signing, and participants) you can get a taste of the free time when
the writers can spend their money in the city and help rebuild the economy.
